The foundation stone of The Herbs N Spices was laid out in the year 2014 in neemuch by Mr.Abhishek Sinhal and Mr.Pranay Sinhal.
The Herbs N Spices is a divison of Sinhal Group of Industries,Neemuch. The cornerstone of the group was laid out in year 1992 by Mr.Satayanarayan Sinhal and his sons Mr.Mukesh Sinhal,Mr.Rajesh Sinhal,Mr.Praveen Sinhal. The Sinhal group owns 4 pulses proccesing units,Two Gram flour(Besan) manufacturing plant and 3 colour sorting sortex units in Neemuch.
The group was formerly engaged in the business practice of Gram pulse & Flour, Urad Pulse,Masoor pulse Manufacturing and colour sorting of wheat and is a prominent name in malwa region. And the group recognised the opportunity in the field of procurement,upgradation and distribution of herbs and spices from our town,As our town:Neemuch(M.P.) is a major hub in trading of herbs and spices in india.

Cultivation :Withania somnifera is cultivated in many of the drier regions of India, such as Mandsaur District of Madhya Pradesh, Punjab, Sindh, Gujarat,and Rajasthan. It is also found in Nepal.

Medicinal Uses :The root is bitter, acrid, heating, aphrodisiac, tonic, alternative, anthelmintic and useful in treatment of inflammations, psoriasis, bronchitis, asthma, consumption, ulcers, scabies, marasmus of children, insomnia, senile debility etc. According to Unani system of medicine, the root is bitter, tonic, aphrodisiac, emmenagogue, good in asthma, inflammations, leucoderma, bronchitis, lumbago, thirst etc.

English name : Indian Asparagus, Hundred Roots , Asparagus roots

Cultivation :Asparagus racemosus is a species of asparagus common throughout Nepal, Sri Lanka, India and the Himalayas.

Medicinal Uses : The most important herb in Ayurvedic medicine for women Used internally for infertility, loss of libido, threatened miscarriage, menopausal problems. It both nourishes and cleanses the blood and the female reproductive organs. This herb is known to increase Sattva, or positivity and healing power.

Chlorophytum borivilianum

Safeed Musli/ Chlorophytum Borivilianum

English name : Land-Calotrops

Cultivation :The herb with lanceolate leaves, from tropical wet forests in peninsular India.

Medicinal Uses : It is used in traditional systems of medicine including Ayurveda, Unani, and homeopathy. It is traditionally used for arthritis, cancer, diabetes, boosting vitality, improving sexual performance and for many other uses.

Andrographis paniculata

Kalmegh / Andrographis paniculata


Sanskrit : kalmegh, Bhunimba
English name : Green chirayta, creat, king of bitters, andrographis, India echinacea

Cultivation : It is widely cultivated in Southern and Southeastern Asia. It does best in a sunny location. The seeds are sown during May and June (northern hemisphere). The seedlings are transplanted at a distance of 60 cm x 30 cm.

Medicinal Uses : The herb has a number of purported medicinal uses, although research has found evidence of its effectiveness is limited to treatment of upper respiratory infection, ulcerative colitis and rheumatic symptoms; in particular, there is no evidence of its effectiveness in cancer treatment.

English name : Gulancha Tinospora

Cultivation :The plant is a glabrous climbing shrub found throughout India, typically growing in deciduous and dry forests.

Medicinal Uses : In Ayurveda literature it is described as Amrita because of its innumerable medicinal properties. Giloy is anti-arthrtic, anti periodic, anti pyretic , digestive, anti inflammatory , blood purifier and has number of uses.

Cultivation :Several other basils, including some other Ocimum species, are grown in many regions of Asia. The most notable is the holy basil or tulsi, a revered home-grown plant in India and Nepal.

Medicinal Uses :The leaves and flowering stems are strongly antiseptic, antispasmodic, carminative, cholagogue, diaphoretic, emmenagogue, expectorant, stimulant, stomachic and mildly tonic. The plant is taken internally in the treatment of colds, influenza, mild feverish illnesses, indigestion, stomach upsets and painful menstruation.

Cultivation :It is a major commercial crop only in the northwestern states where the climate is relatively hot and dry. Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh and Punjab farm henna, primarily to be sold as hair dye. Rajasthani henna farms often produce body art quality henna.

Medicinal Uses : Henna is known as a traditional Ayurveda medicine. It shows various health benefits such as hypoglycaemic and hypolipidemic activities, inhibits the tuberculosis bacteria, and useful in skin diseases.

Cultivation : The plant is native to tropical and subtropical regions of North America and South America. Stevia crop has good potential in India.

Medicinal Uses : A leaf picked from a stevia plant and chewed will impart an extremely sweet taste sensation reminiscent of licorice that lasts for quite a while. For stevia to have a more practical application as a tea or sweetener,the leaves must be dried or put through an extraction process, which makes the sweet taste even more potent.

Medicinal Uses : Neem leaf is used for leprosy, eye disorders, bloody nose, intestinal worms, stomach upset, loss of appetite, skin ulcers, diseases of the heart and blood vessels (cardiovascular disease), fever, diabetes, gum disease (gingivitis), and liver problems. The leaf is also used for birth control and to cause abortions.

Cultivation :Abelmoschus moschatus (Hibiscus abelmoschus) is a tropical weedy shrub native to India valued for its scented seed.

Medicinal Uses : Musk mallow seed oil was once frequently used as a substitute in perfumes for animal musk. The bitter, sweet, acrid, aromatic seeds are used as a tonic and are considered "cooling, aphrodisiac, opthalmic, cardiotonic, digestive, stomachic, constipating,carminative,pectoral,diuretic, stimulant, antispasmodic,deodorant.

Medicinal Uses : Basil seeds have antioxidant, anticancer, antiviral, antibacterial, antimicrobial, antispasmodic, antiseptic, antifungal, carminative, galactagogue, stomachic properties.The carminative properties are useful in providing relief in a wide range of digestive issues like flatulence, stomach cramps, indigestion, constipation etc.

Cultivation : It is planted through the deciduous of tropical India and is commercially cultivated in the state of Uttar Pradesh in India. It is also grown in Tamil Nadu,Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh also.

Medicinal Uses : The fruit is the richest source of Vitamin C and is a diuretic, aperient, Laxative and hair dye. It cures insomnia and is healthy for hair. It is used as the cardio protective,useful in hemorrhage, menprrhagia, leucorrhoea and discharge of blood from uterus.
